In the past month we have been working with several local companies to maintain their website and keep it up to date with the latest version of software that has been released.

Keeping your site’s software up to date is extremely important to fix bugs and security holes that hackers could use to exploit and take control of your website and the data you have stored in it. In June we help Kenilworth Wines update their e-commerce shop to run the latest version of the software. Not only this update fixed some bugs with the software it also filled security holes, a update that was really worth doing. We have also been busy updating WordPress websites for clients as version 3.4 of WordPress was released including Acorn Printing and The Duck Pond Fishery who are both based in Coventry and Warwickshire.

Joomla has been progressing well and maintaining Joomla based websites is getting easier and easier with users being able to update the software from the Administration area. We have completed Joomla upgrades in June and was really surprised and please with how easy it was, a credit to the developers of the project.
